Can You Say Chassahowitzka?
We recently hosted our very first Blast & Cast event in Florida. It was a small, laid-back event with testimonies shared and lots of questions asked and answered. The great news is that we have a leadership team forming in Florida so that we can officially launch a brand new chapter! We’re super excited to be pointing outdoorsmen to the cross in Florida, and I hope that you’ll come alongside us to support our efforts there.
This video gives you a bit of the sights and sounds of that inaugural event, which was hosted at the Chassahowitzka Hotel in Homosassa, FL. Make sure to turn up the audio to catch the message, and prayer, from Juan… and the laughs at the end as everyone tried to pronounce Chassahowitzka and just gave up.
Our 1-Day events are designed to introduce the mission of Blast & Cast Men’s Ministries to local outdoorsmen, churches, and businesses. We point outdoorsmen to the cross in a fun environment where men who may not attend church can hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Our 3-Day weekend events are designed to gather outdoorsmen at a lodge, cabin, or campsite for a few days of fishing and/or hunting. Our leadership and volunteers work hard to create an environment where men can bond together through authentic Christian fellowship, outdoor sports, good food, and thought-provoking messages from our guest speakers.
Blast & Cast Men’s Ministries events are considered a success when the men walk away with a fresh understanding of their personal relationship with God.
Occasionally an event ends with a baptism celebration at the local boat ramp, beach, lake, or whatever water source is available.
