Marine Creek Kayak Fishing Challenge

To build meaningful relationships with other outdoorsmen for the purpose of leading them to, or back to, Jesus Christ.

Check-in will be located at the east boat ramp.  The street address is 2700 NW Loop 820, Fort Worth TX, 76179.

Prizes awarded for:

Biggest 5-bass stringer (top 3 places)

Biggest bass

Smallest bass

Tournament rules:

1. Tournament is open to all participants of all ages.  Participants must register at www.blastandcast.org and sign a liability waiver at check in to be eligible.
2. Participants must have a valid Texas freshwater fishing license.
3. Participants must wear a life vest at all times.
4. Kayak fishing only.  Participants may utilize electric trolling motors. No gas-powered motors allowed.
5. The officially recognized measuring devices are Hawg Troughs and Ketch Boards.
6. To submit a catch, participants must take a picture of the bass on a clearly labeled measuring device.  The bass and the length identifier must be clearly identifiable in the picture.  Pictures must be submitted via text message immediately upon release of the fish.  A cell phone number will be provided at check in.
7. Measurements should be taken with the mouth closed.  If the picture submitted shows the bass with an open mouth, a 1/2″ penalty will be assessed.
8. A 5-fish stringer is composed of a participant’s longest 5 bass. 14″ minimum length.
9. 14″ minimum length will apply to the biggest bass award.
10. There is no minimum length requirement for the smallest bass award.
11. All catches must be submitted by 12pm.
