Whether or not you’re an outdoorsman, there is a way for you to get involved with Blast & Cast.
Weekend events: Join us at one of our many events! Our weekend events are designed for men that may not have been inside of a church for many years. They are a great opportunity to fish or hunt someplace new and interact with outdoorsmen from all over the state (or even multiple states)! We do our very best to ensure that every event is incredibly cost effective by utilizing volunteers and ministry partners to keep costs down. It takes all types to make these events work, so whether you’re young or old, experienced or brand new, never-been-to-church or there-every-week, there’s a place for you. We can always use volunteer boat owners, cooks, clean-up crews, and even event organizers!

Volunteer training: Our volunteer training events are designed for men that have a passion for evangelism and reaching men with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, whether you’re an outdoorsman or not. At these training sessions, our experienced staff members can help you become more effective at reaching out to, sharing with, and impacting the lives of others. Whether you are a new Christian that is still learning about your faith or a seasoned veteran that is looking to refine his approach, we’d love to come alongside you and help you fulfill the Great Commission.
Tournament Outreach: We are actively working alongside numerous tournament trails to point outdoorsmen to the cross. If you have a competitive streak and would like to join that effort, please contact us at email@example.com. The more teams out there competing, building relationships, and spreading the Word the better.
Throughout his letters, Paul continually asked for prayers to be made on his behalf. Ministry was tough. The message of the gospel was strange to those who had never heard. Paul knew he needed the prayers of many saints in order to be effective in ministry. In 2 Corinthians 1:11 Paul wrote, “You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.”
We need your help in prayer. This ministry is challenging and the message of the gospel is still strange to those who have never heard. Join us in praying for Blast and Cast regularly so that we can be most effective in reaching the lost.
- Pray for doors to open so that strategic ministry can take place.
- Pray for boldness in sharing our faith.
- Pray for men’s hearts to be receptive to the gospel.
- Pray that deep, meaningful relationships are formed through events.
- Pray for Christ to be exalted in everything we do.
If you don’t already, follow us on our Facebook page. This is a great way to know what’s going on with the ministry and you can use posts as a helpful reminder to stop and pray.
We can’t continue to do what we do without the generous support of our financial partners. Our ministry events are designed with ministry in mind…not profit! We keep event dues as low as possible so that we do not place a financial burden on those whom we seek to reach. As a missions organization, we are dependent on the faithful giving of donors that want to step up and help ensure that a lack of funds won’t be the reason that an outdoorsman misses an opportunity to hear about Jesus.
The vast majority of our financial support comes from ordinary families, not big businesses or even churches, and the best way to support us financially is through our automated monthly giving program. The program allows ordinary families the ability to make a substantial impact while keeping a budget (most monthly donations are between $25 and $100/mo). Monthly giving also allows us the opportunity to better forecast and plan out our expenditures, which means that we are able to spend time doing ministry rather than fundraising. Click to make a monthly donation.
Other donors prefer to give annually or for special needs. These donations are typically used to cover larger expenditures, such as lodging for ministry events, video outreach efforts, merchandise runs, event scholarships for those in financial need, volunteer training events, advertising, or various other projects that we take on as funding allows. Blast & Cast Men’s Ministries is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductable.
Sponsorship is a great way for your business to support outdoorsmen in your community and show them that you care enough to invest in an organization that is making a real and practical difference in their lives. The sky is the limit when it comes to sponsorship opportunities…if you can dream it, we can help make it happen. We are always in need of corporate sponsors for our video work, our tournament outreach efforts, various parts of our ministry events, and corporate tables at our annual fundraising Gala in Houston.
And did we mention that we love to advertise for our sponsors? We support those that support the Kingdom, and we want to see you grow. If you’re interested in sponsoring any portion of the Blast & Cast ministry, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to help you develop a sponsorship plan that will reach your intended audience while making an eternal impact at the same time.
Blast & Cast Men’s Ministries is not a church and can never be a substitute for the local church. We are absolutely dependent on strong, Gospel-teaching local churches to take in new believers and give them a place to grow, learn, and serve. Without the local church on our side, we cannot exist. However, as a missions organization that is made up of outdoorsmen, Blast & Cast is often able to reach people in the local church’s community that the local church cannot. We can also come alongside the local church by helping train their church body to better engage their community with the message of the Gospel.
We see the relationship between the local church and Blast & Cast as a partnership where we work hand in hand to reach the lost in our community. If your church or ministry is interested in partnering with us, please have a staff member contact us at email@example.com. We’d love to meet and see how we can best work together to reach the lost in your community.
